Here’s all you need to do

1. Number your reels of film in the order you wish to have them appear on the video. HINT: Some reels have processing dates on the boxes or along the sprocket holes, this can help you place them chronologically.

2. Write your opening title, along with your personal information and any instructions, on a piece of paper with your film.

We convert films directly to DVD, producing exceptional color and clarity.

Unless you have personally looked at each reel of film, and know for sure its contents, we do not recommend placing titles within your video. Our experience has been, too many times, the written contents on the box may not be the same as what is in the box. Because we write directly to disc, the title cannot be erased. It is better to have one main beginning title, setting the scene, and let the movie unfold.

In your search for transfer prices, we will not be the cheapest. Our quality is superior and we provide the best film conversion to video available in the home movie transfer field. In measuring your 8mm film for estimating cost, use the following guidelines:

3" diameter reel = 50 feet of film
5" diameter reel = 200 feet of film
6" diameter reel = 300 feet of film
7" diameter reel = 400 feet of film

If you are not sure of the exact footage, bring us your films and we will give you an estimate. After you have approved the quoted price, you will be given a date your order will be completed, which is usually between 3 weeks to a month.

We use a professional videotape or DVD to give you lasting results. As a memorable presentation, an animated title is added at the beginning of your video. We provide personalized labels on the top of your DVD, and give you a dust-proof DVD jewel case.

Example of a typical film order 2,000' of 8mm film (40 small 3" reels) onto DVD = $. This includes the discs, animated beginning title, DVD personalized labels, and DVD jewel cases. Since approximately 1800' of film fit onto 1 DVD, 2 would be required for this example order.
